Can baby aspirin help with recurrent miscarriage

Momtoang is absolutely correct. Many doctors prescribe baby aspirin. I know a few people who take it all thru their pregnancy because of blood clotting disorders. The other are uninformed.
Bottom line: If your doc. tells you to take it then take it. Your gyno would not tell you to take it if their were any risks to a baby. After all your doc. went to school for quite a while and is very educated.

I know people who swear by it. I did not ever try it and have also had 2 miscarriages. This lady kept telling me. you need to take the baby aspirin that is what did it for me. She had a MC at 12 and 17 weeks. I wanted to just hug her when she told me. Both of mine were early before the heartbeat.

It depends if you are factor V, which is a blood-clotting disorder that has been linked to miscarriage, preeclampsia, and other pregnancy-related complications. I tested positive for factor V after my miscarriage last year so my doctor prescribed me to take one baby aspirin tablet everyday. It will prevent blood clots that can be fatal to a fetus.

Asprin is not good in pregnancy, some people recommend baby asprin when your miscarriage is caused by excessive clotting in the umbilical cord because it thins out your blood, but if there is no reason why you miscarried then do not take it.

Can baby aspirin help with recurrent miscarriage

Actually, yes, some doctors will recommend taking baby aspirin. I believe it is due to the fact that some women have clotting disorders that cause them to miscarry. I have had a couple of friends that had to take baby aspirin as well as progesterone supplements. In the end they both had healthy babies.

Can baby aspirin help with recurrent miscarriage

I am not sure where your doc finds the logic in that. Miscarriage is usually caused by genetic malformations which is something that can not be prevented. Aspirin is a blood thinner which is usually supposed to be avoided in pregnancy.

Can baby aspirin help with recurrent miscarriage

Uhm, aspirin can make you bleed more, why would they tell you to do that? It makes no sense, you are suppose to avoid aspirin if you are pregnant, not take it.
